Quality time

Yea I know I mostly have posted TLK art lately. But it seems to be the only fan art I can bring myself to complete at the moment. Also, whatever inspiration I have I mostly had to put into my off-line commission paintings.

I wasn't really planning to continue drawing the cubs from this picture (irete.deviantart.com/art/Famil…), it was meant to be a one time thing (or two).

But a lot of people have commenting on it, having different thoughts about Kovu's reaction to his daughter and what would become of her. That made me think about it more and about develop her story further. I'm not sure yet if I will, maybe I'll turn it into a mini series of pictures or something like that. I don't know.

About the picture.

Not much to say about it really. It's just Kovu is playing with his daughter.

I don't know if I ruin the tensions of the first picture with this one, but when people asked if Kovu would dislike his daughter for looking like Zira I answered he likely wouldn't. It may have been an uncomfortable surprise for him at first, but I think Kovu would learn to look past that in the end.
